A New Opportunity

I’m excited to announce a new writing opportunity that has come my way - I am officially the newest travel contributor for The DC Ladies!

The DC Ladies is a lifestyle website geared towards women living and working in Washington, DC. The contributors are DC locals who have expertise on a variety of subject matters, including topics such as fashion, parenting, and dining in the city. I encourage my fellow DC friends to check out the site; it’s a great resource for those who call The District home.

I love opportunities that challenge me to take my writing in different directions. The posts that I write for The DC Ladies will be different from those that you find here on The Trip Architect. I plan on doing a mix of personal pieces on my travels and travel philosophy, as well as domestic and international city guides geared towards women travelers.

Look for my first DC Ladies post, which is scheduled to go live on January 22nd. I’ll be discussing my travel resolutions for 2014. I just finished writing the piece, and am already feeling inspired to book a new trip. I hope that the post has the same effect on you!
